Xavier Ramos and Pedro Salas-Rojo will be guest speakers at this summer school primarily intended for PhD students and young researchers in economics and related disciplines.
The Department of Economics and Finance of the University of Bari, the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research, the Department of Economics and Law of Sapienza University of Rome, the International Inequalities Institute of the London School of Economics, and the School of Economics and Finance of Queen Mary University of London are launching the first edition of the Inequalities and Opportunities Summer School.
The school aims to introduce PhD students and young researchers from around the world to frontier research on economic inequality and related topics. This edition of the school focuses on discrimination and human capital, intergenerational mobility, and inequality and welfare. The lectures are designed to cover both theoretical and empirical aspects of these research areas, while also fostering interaction between participants and invited speakers. Participants are also invited to present their research during a poster session.
